The School of Italian Plasters pioneered sales and training of the Safra Colors LTD. line of Venetian Plasters over 10 years ago. CSIOP and the Wallartistry started as the only two certified instruction centers for Safra Colors. We have evolved to now offer a wider scope of training, service and material expertise.
Additionally, Metro Wallworks hosts classes in the decorative surface industry for visiting instructors.
All classes are geared towards professionals who expect a return on their investment. There are no one day "show me" classes for DIY's. You will leave each class ready to sell your finishes.
$325 1-Day certification course will teach you the full line of Shikoku Eco de Vita products: Sand Series and Diatomaceous Earth Series. The Diatomaceous Earth Series purifies toxins in the air and regulates humidity. We will do 8-10 sample boards including some with glass beads, silk fibers, metallic leaf, and stencils. LEED points are available for these products. Information will be provided along with your handbook.

$575 Lime finishes offer unparalleled beauty and can fit into any budget. This course is designed for those with troweling and finishing experience that want to master this amazing material. You will take home 11 sample boards and work on full sheets of drywall in tandem with other students. You will work with high polished grassellos to the rough Travertino in the trendiest colors so that you can hit the ground running. Magna Colors certificate included.

VarianceAcrylic Finishes Certification
$325 1-Day Certification course. Designed for plastering contractors or other trade persons serious about learning how to apply Variance® products for large scale use. Students will take home more than 8 sample boards with a special emphasis on maintenance and repair. Lunch is provided.

Private instruction is a minimum of 2 days and usually is completed in 4 days. Prices start at $600 per day.
